Abraham Joseph
Abraham specialises in providing research, consulting and
marketing support services on telecommunications and IT. He has over 20
years experience in telecommunications and IT and has managed major projects
for investors, regulators, telecommunications and cable TV operators, equipment
vendors, independent software vendors and enterprises.
Prior to founding Inteligentis, Abraham worked as
Consulting Director at Ovum, where he was engaged in building a practice in telecommunications
operations support systems.
Prior to Ovum, he worked as Director of Consulting at
Gartner where he managed a wide variety of research and strategic consulting
engagements.
Before his career in consulting and research, Abraham
worked for over 10 years in the vendor community, most recently as a senior
manager in the marketing business development and strategy department at
Alcatel. This was preceded by a variety of business development, marketing,
product management, and network engineering roles at Nortel. Prior to
this he worked as a systems engineer at BT.
Abraham has an MBA from the University of Strathclyde
and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of the
South Bank (now South Bank University London).
In August 2006 Abraham founded the Device Management Forum , an
industry group that brings together major stakeholders in the creation delivery
and management of products and services based on communications devices.
Abraham writes for a number of influential publications
such as 3GSM World Focus, Total Telecom and Mobile Europe and has chaired as
well as been a frequent speaker at international conferences on topics such as
fixed mobile convergence, mobile device management, mobile device security, IMS
and mobile terminals outsourcing.
Abraham has an MBA from the University of Strathclyde
and a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of the
South Bank (now South Bank University London).
